Méningite bactérienne communautaire
URGENCE ABSOLUE. Inflammation des méninges à pyogènes. Germes selon âge : pneumocoque (50%), méningocoque (30%), Listeria (terrains à risque), Hib.
Méningo-encéphalite herpétique
URGENCE. Encéphalite à HSV-1 le plus souvent, atteinte temporale. Mortalité 70% sans traitement, séquelles fréquentes.
Abcès cérébral
Collection suppurée intra-parenchymateuse. Origine ORL (sinus, otite, dent), hématogène (endocardite) ou post-traumatique/post-chirurgicale.
